OTC Burglarized

On Monday 2/15/10 Over TWO Customs was burglarized. The theives took entry through our front office and was able to escape with 2 vehicles.

Local authorities have been notified and the bikes in question are currently reported stolen. The vehicle identification numbers are listed below,

2006 GSXR 1000 – VIN – JS1GT76A962102886 – COLOR SILVER – MISSING TAIL AND SIDE FAIRINGS

2007 YAMAHA R1 – DARK SILVER – VIN – JYARN20E87A004149

Any information regarding the thefts should be directed to the lawrenceville police department.

Also a possibly related theft in the city of Conyers happened Friday evening. Any link between the 2 cases is being pursued.

OTC has taken additional security measures to insure the safety of our customers and shop in the future..

Cold weather comes to Atlanta

The weather has turned south in the Atlanta area in late October. Bike nights have come to a close and riders are storing their toys for the winter months. November through January is a great time to tear down and rebuild a classic, restore an old barn yard find, or even fix some pesky scratches on a road machine. Over TWO Customs is glad to help with all your paint, fabrication, customization, and restoration needs through the holiday seasons!

The O.T.C Custom Build – Kawasaki KZ 550

Overtwo Customs was given this 1982 Kawasaki KZ 550 back in late May, 2009.

The bike had been sitting outside a local mechanics shop for about 2 years. Rusted and abandoned OTC took the bike in and gave it another chance to hit the streets.

The 550 was stripped down to the frame and rebuilt to assess any mechanical issues then stripped down once again to begin the custom build.

Demons Cycle out of Pompano Beach, FL provided us with the custom gas tank for the build however the stock frame rail would not support the custom tank. The frame was then chopped and welded to support the addition of the chopper style tank addition. In addition to the center rail modification, the rear of the bike was also chopped and fitted with a Vulcan 750 cut rear fender.

All original tank support was removed from the upper frame rail and side case cover mounts were removed as well.

The frame and fork tubes were painted pearl white to accent the black motor and tins.

The wheels and miscellaneous mounting hardware is powdercoated chrome.

The bike was outfitted with a custom tail light, new tires, drag bars, custom spring supported seat from a GSXR 1000 and chrome tipped slash cut dual exhaust.

Total build time – 5 days.
